Learned alot from serving in the Marine Corps. It helped provide my life with discipline and helped me grow in to a better citizen. The last 22 years of the Marine Corps provided me with the confidence that I will need to be successful in the civilian sector.

Alot of politics
Many join and get out as soon as their contract is up which shows you how low their retention rate is for keep what you could call new hires. I did enjoy my time because of the people you work with and enduring the suck together.

I will never have anything negative to say about my beloved Marine Corps. It has taught me discipline, courage, commitment, honor and so much more. I love the military.

You help make it what it is today.
You are but one part of a greater puzzle, that displays a transparent image of yourself, section, units, or squadron; both positively & negatively from within the Marine Corps and outside of it in societies eyes every day.

Serving in the Marine Corps has always been fun for me. My decision to leave this organization is solely based on needing to take care of my family and set my life goals back on track

A different path
For me joining the Marines was a deviation from the standard go to college then find a job pipeline that was overwhelmingly presented to me in early adulthood. I sought challenge and found it in good supply. I visited places I would have never gone myself and met people I would have never met. The high standards that are required of Marines almost force a person to thrive or fail. Someone who wants to be a Marine must understand that serving is a big commitment and that there might be some less than pleasant times during their contract, but that is just the way it is. The Marine Corps, like any military branch, offers healthcare and educational benefits.

Ability to travel and get out of your comfort zone
Overall experience has it's ups and downs. Management across the board is severely lacking, hardly anyone listens to what the actual issues are. If you stay in long enough, you're going to be good at your primary MOS, however, most units don't worry or try to retain you until you're about to forced out.
悪い点poor management, promotion requirements

Being a Marine is 24/7
A typical day at work had many formation to ensure accountability of all Marines and tasks set to be done within reasonable time frames. I have been taught many things such as my MOS as a electrical equipment systems tech along with team building, leadership and being objective focused. Management varied by how you viewed as your manager. The "manager' could be anyone from the non-commissioned officers all the way up the chain of command. Depending on rank, plus every unit had different missions causing different workplace cultures to vary. There is nothing easy about the Marines but also is very enjoyable.

Tight knit, family orientated, traveling
Environment where you can learn from your peers, subordinates, and leadership. Able to have a heavy impact on junior enlisted and lead them in the right way.
